Zend is not opening properly

During opening of zend i got following message:

This Application has Unexpectedly Quit:
Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)

solution:

Check your java JRE installation and maybe you should rename/remove the config dir
C:\documents and settings\<username>\ZDE     OR   C:\documents and settings\NEWUSER\ZDE
try renaming the ZDE to something else. that will reset all ZS settings. If you had ZS working at one point and it doesn’t work now, either ZS configs got messed up somehow or JRE is screwed (my guess)…..
Since ZS is made to be a cross-platform application, I believe that it does not depend on too many components on your particular OS. I’ve seen it run even on a virus-ridden computer.

Try first with above given things and still it is not working than just uninstalled zend and again installed it and than try above things again if you will get same message during opening the zend studio.

propebaly the problem is renaming the ZDE directory of C:\documents and settings\NEWUSER\ZDE.

Thanks,
Nilesh Prajapati.
